Wendy Werb, Esq.
Advisory Board Member
Wendy Werb is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida College of Law. During her 37-year career, Wendy held numerous law-related positions. Before obtaining her law degree she worked as a paralegal, and after becoming a lawyer she was certified as a Family Mediator. Wendy also held positions as an editorial director for a legal publishing company and office administrator of a nonprofit. Before “semi-retiring,” she served as a Family Court Magistrate in the 19th Judicial Circuit, and she currently serves as a Code Enforcement Magistrate for Martin County.
Wendy’s lifelong interest in the law and her dedication to the rule of law and our Constitution led her to volunteer in various law-related educational programs, including middle school peer mediation and high school mock trials. She also taught Civics classes at two Montessori schools and was an adjunct instructor of legal courses at both Florida Atlantic University and Indian River State College.
When she came onto the Board of Directors Wendy assisted in the development and coordination of the annual Constitution Academic Competition. She currently sits on the Advisory Board to continue to provide input for CCV’s programs.
Wendy lives in Sewall’s Point with her husband, Fourth DCA Judge Mark Klingensmith, and they have two grown children, Hope and John. Wendy enjoys working on various building projects with Mark as well as riding their motorcycles, and she is an avid pickleball player.
