Kate Boland was an executive and senior consultant in the fields of housing and public policy She was Chair and Executive Director of the Maine State Housing Authority which financed affordable housing. Later she was staff Vice President for the National Association of Homebuilders and a senior consultant on various federal projects.
Kate was a founder of the Center for Constitutional Values. Concerned that proper attention to the Constitution, and underlying principles, be a major part of school curricula, she has focused on challenging young people to understand its importance and commit to preserve it.
She has served on the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Martin County and as a Guardian Ad Litem
Kate has a B. A. from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Masters of Public Administration from the George Washington University, Washington, DC.
With her husband Tom White, Kate has five grown sons, and 7 grand and 6 great grandchildren. They reside in Stuart.
