Herb Ross has been a resident of Martin County since 2005 and currently resides in Hobe Sound. He is a retired university administrative executive who served in higher education for 30 years. During his tenure, he was a Principal Investigator for a U.S. Department of Education, FIPSE grant; founding member of the Governor’s and University Alliance to Reduce Under Age Drinking on Campus (Massachusetts); member of the New England Think Tank for Higher Education, a project of the U.S. Department of Education; member of the Board of Directors of the Boston/Cambridge Ministry in Higher Education. He was also President and share holder of Whistletown LLC, a real estate investment firm.
Herb received a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Connecticut State University and a Masters of Science in Administrative Studies from Boston University.
He and his wife Patricia have two sons.
